Children's League Golf!!

Join the BGC Children's Golf League! This is a fun, non-competitive league suitable for mixed ability golfers aged 8-14.

Students warm-up with practice on the course range, this is followed by 9 holes of golf and light refreshments.

The league is coached by our resident golf pro, Ryan Watson. Ryan has extensive experience teaching golf and a repetoire of strategies for engaging youth. New members are always welcome!

Students meet at the club house at 4:30 pm on Friday evenings and finish up by approximately 7:30 pm.

Rotary Club Tournament Success

A brave mix of teams embarked onto the course on Sunday June 7th for the Second Annual Rotary Club Tournament. The rain came down hard but these troupers finished 9 holes to an excellent steak dinner prepared by Gord Mackey. Tournament organizer, Joan Kingston MC'd the award ceremony. Holes for Hospice

Saturday, June 20th saw a great mix of teams and good weather for the 2nd annual Holes for Hospice Golf Tournament. The clubhouse delivered a great steak dinner. Second Annual Fitness Club Tournament

Live dinner theatre and Hawaiian lae were just some of the highlights of the Second Annual Fitness Club tournament. Yummy laua after golf! See photos here.

Casual leagues play several weekday mornings and evenings following a flexible schedule. Leagues are informal and follow an open members policy. Special rates in effect for league players.

The 2009 Giving Baack Annual Golf Tournament was hosted by the Bancroft Golf Course on August, 22nd, 2009. Giving Baack is a charitable organization that allocates funding for local children's sport programming such as T-Hawks Football. Giving Baack has established a solid relationship with the Toronto Argonauts and their Cheerleaders who made guest appearances at the tournament. See photos from the tournament...

3rd Annual Croft Tourney

The Bancroft Golf Course is pleased to introduce our Golf Professional Ryan Watson. Ryan is an avid golfer and an accomplished teacher. Call the course to learn more about his special training Clinics. Ryan is currently facilitating a weekly Tuesday afternoon children's league that begins at 1:30 pm. Highlights from July 18th

Jack Peters (age 6 months old) takes home award for Youngest Golfer. Fraser Smith gets hole-in-one on the 6th! Renegade Golf Cart found in the creek!

~ HOLE-IN-ONE ~

Joe Gunter accomplished a Hole-In-One on Tuesday, July 21st! Joe is a member of the Tuesday night Men's League. Joe was playing hole 13 in the back nine. Way to go Joe!! Joe is the third golfer of the season to get a hole-in-one.
